Barnes 'A' has seen many changes over the last seven years in which our year has morphed into a dramatically different six from the eight little newcomers that first arrived. Originally the starting mob consisted of Katherine Davidson, Jade Fletcher, Sarah Keyes, Stephanie Miller, Sarah Moon, Elizabeth Pierce, Kate Postlethwaite and Lorna Sylvester who were the 'lucky' ones to experience the delights of squit education from which the flush of the toilet still gives me a creepy feeling! Once settled in, the fashion shows to the famous Gangster's Paradise (in which our girdles always came in handy) became a highlight of bedtime entertainment whilst 'Clitty' never ceased to cause an eruption of giggles from Lorna, Steph and Kate.
Reaching our UF we had seen the sad (for some people) departures of Biffo, Lorna and Step; all of whom recall different memories, such as the 'bitch' fight between Lorna and I, the showers we had in housey (DON'T ASK) and the fabulous house entertainment - Lorna stripping for Mr Piper that was novel. Then Rosie made her entrance after a short stay in LHB, to liven up our lives with her amusing renditions of 'Monday Monday' and 'California Dreaming'.

The end of our GCSE's came whilst we said farewell to Jade, who left us for pastures new in hope of her dance career taking flight (which it has). Then came the anticipated arrival of Clare as a new Dep to the already fab five. What more can I say BaA has moulded some colourful characters over the last seven years who have all risen to a variety of heights, Smoon reached the pinnacle of sporting prowess as both netball and hockey captain, whilst Rosie graced the stage with her favorable aura. Katherine never ceased to be fundamental in the running of the theatre and had no option but to transfigure from her reserved second form character into a feisty female. Kate displayed her remarkable talent as the sexy saxophonist everyone wanted to get a piece of! Man-eating Madders regularly lived up to her name, when she took time out from being 'Next's' number one customer. Somehow it is impossible to imagine Madders without a hairdryer in the wet and wilds of a scout experience but then again my musical talent isn't a scratch on Clare's orgasmic violin playing.
Well here we are at the end of our Grecian's, looking back on what has been a life experience for us. Our childhood days are over and only the memories remain - hopefully some are happy if not at all unique. But one thing to say, stay in touch even if you end up ringing me up ten years down the line when you are reminiscing on the good old days!
