No one ever quite understood Carl, he was certainly one of a kind. Maybe his country background (in unusual circumstances /positions) was something to do with it. Carl’s C.V certainly reads well, from Chicken farming to Kipping, Carl went into everything with a passion untold – whether Antons bed, the toilet, brew room table or his beloved Southampton and most importantly England. After a brief fling, Carl settled down to married life with Nicky, only cheating on her to worship his idol James Beatie. His other love was drink – his motto being the stronger the better – cans of special brew were known on occasions to tipple his fancy. On his Grecians Carl fulfilled all expectations – predicted straight A’s and moving from 5ths on his Grecians to 2nds Captain. Solid and dependable, quick to defend his rights, Carl was a true Mid A lad.
