Super-Gem. She has brought a bit of (H)ull into our lives but the ‘skies all one colour’. She’s overwhelmed us with her square chin and slightly bigger than most, bum-but it is NOT the biggest. Her fun personality and determination should have made her ‘scum’ but she’s better than that. Her craziness shines through her hairstyle which deviates between 80’s Dyke and ‘Tallulah’ glamour. Gem always makes time for her friends, despite living in Art School. Gemma has shocked the theatre by appearing on, behind and under the stage; she has always played the lead role. Her costume making has improved from stapled to sewing machines (which we are all thankful for) and she has to be the first to make a dance for a costume. She has done everything – from winning the steeplechase to wearing a different outfit each day with matching nail varnish to being there for you at anytime of night. If you ever meet the loudest person in the dance studio, calmest friend, who whizzes between simultaneous rehearsals on roller-boots stunning the scene on Saturday night – you’ve met Gemma-Louise.
